RustPDF support
PDF work stays on your computer.
RustPDF is Aum Maa Shree’s offline-first desktop workspace for organizing, converting, protecting, signing, and reviewing PDF documents.
About RustPDF
RustPDF processes documents locally and keeps its portable PDF engine separate from each platform’s native interface. The supported desktop releases are being prepared for macOS and Windows; release availability depends on completing each platform’s signing, packaging, and on-device validation.

File safety
RustPDF writes to a staged file beside the destination, reopens and validates the result, and only then commits the output. The source file remains unchanged, and workflows preserve an existing destination by default unless you explicitly allow replacement.
- Choose a new output name when you need to keep earlier results.
- Review warnings before accepting a lossy conversion, rasterization, redaction, flattening, or structure-removal operation.
- Keep the original document separately when applying protection, redaction, signatures, or other permanent changes.
- Do not assume signature validity proves identity trust; RustPDF reports those checks separately.
How licensing works
RustPDF major-version-1 registration is an administrator-assisted exchange. Use the same email address associated with the purchase or entitlement.
| License type | How it is checked | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Offline | Bound to protected data for that installation and verified locally. The installed license is not sent to the license service for validation. | The computer must operate without recurring internet access. |
| Online | Uses signed entitlement decisions from the license service. A successful decision is refreshed within 24 hours and can provide up to 72 hours of signed offline grace, never beyond license expiration. | The computer can periodically reach the license service and the entitlement may need central status changes. |
A major-version-1 entitlement has a fixed ten-year term beginning with its first successful issuance. Reissuing the license does not restart or extend that expiration date.
License troubleshooting
- If RustPDF says no license is installed, confirm that you imported the signed license—not the registration request.
- If an offline license does not match, generate a new request on the installation that will use RustPDF. Reinstalling or moving protected application data may require a new signed license.
- If an online check fails, confirm the computer can reach
license.k2patel.inover HTTPS, then retry from the License screen. - If the license is expired or centrally denied, an internet retry cannot extend it. Contact the license administrator with the purchase email and visible status message.
- Do not publish or forward a registration request outside the trusted support exchange; it contains entitlement registration material.
Availability and support
RustPDF is currently completing commercial-release and platform validation. A build is not considered a supported public release until its platform signing, packaging, notices, and installation checks have passed.
Need RustPDF help?
Include the platform, RustPDF version, the visible status or warning, and the operation you were trying to complete. Do not attach a private PDF unless support specifically requests a safe test file.
